The DGT environmental label

The spanish Directorate General for Traffic has established a classification system for the city's vehicles with the aim of positively discriminating in favour of the most environmentally-friendly vehicles and introducing an effective tool in municipal policies, both for imposing driving restrictions during high-pollution episodes, and for promoting new technologies through tax incentives or benefits relating to mobility and the environment.

There are five categories of vehicles, according to their potential for pollutant emissions:

  • B.
  • C.
  • Eco.
  • Zero Emissions.
  • Without Label.

Check your vehicle's environmental label

If you have lost the environmental label, visit www.dgt.es or call 060
